About SIX the Musical

SIX the Musical started as a student project at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe before becoming a global phenomenon. Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the show retells the stories of Henry VIII’s six wives through the lens of 21st-century pop music. Co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, SIX strips away traditional theatrical staging in favor of a concert format that puts the queens — and their stories — front and center.
